Hudson Valley’s Best Pet Costume Winners for 2018

The results are in, and these Hudson Valley pets have the best Halloween costumes of 2018.

The Boris and Robyn show on 101.5 WPDH hosted the fourth annual Pet Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday. Despite the cold and wet weather, pet owners flocked to Petco on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie with their costumed companions.

Boris, Roybn and a Pets Alive representative sat at the judges’ table as the costumed animals paraded across the Petco showroom floor. Animals dressed as movie and TV characters, hilarious occupations and four-legged food stole the show.

Here are some of the most outrageous costumes that came through the door on Saturday.

Both Petco and Earth Angels Veterinary Hospital supported the event to help raise funds and awareness of Pets Alive, a no-kill animal sanctuary in Orange County. The competition winners were officially announced during the Boris and Robyn Show on Monday morning.

Ryan Roosa and his Husky, Nala, won 3rd prize for their family-friendly rendition of the movie “Up.”
